Voice Coaches Radio Thanksgiving Special 2025
John: [00:00:00] All right. Hello. Welcome to Voice Coaches Radio. I am John.
Tina: And I'm Tina.
John: All right. And we are here it is. Uh, well, this is not gonna be an official episode, right? We're gonna do our Thanksgiving special. Okay. For those of you who do celebrate, but even for those of you who do not, I think is nice, once in a while I've.
I've gotten myself in the habit of doing this, uh, pretty much every day actually. But, uh, I think it's good to, once in a while, uh, talk about what we're thankful for and since we're here mm-hmm. At Voice Coaches Radio, I think it's cool to maybe talk about what we're thankful for in the voiceover world.
Tina: Okay.
John: [00:01:00] Yeah. I mean, why not? It's gonna be just a short thing for Thanksgiving. Mm-hmm. So if you are subscribed to this podcast, which I know you are, of course you are.
Tina: Yeah.
John: Uh, you would've gotten this this morning on Thanksgiving. So Tina, why don't you start? What are you thankful for?
Tina: Um, I'm thankful for the people who do subscribe.
There you go. Look at that. Oh,
John: there you go. Yeah.
Tina: Um, thankful for voice coaches. I really, I enjoy this. I really, really, in meeting all the different people who are getting into this industry and just, um, learning about their background, why they got into this, I, I just, I love that. That's a, that's the biggest thing, meeting all these, these people and, uh, just the opportunities.
John: That's great. And by the way, speaking of that, shout out to Ken. I know Ken, uh, is one of our clients mm-hmm. And not a subscriber, and says he religiously listens to, uh, the podcast and I got to meet him last
Tina: Friday. Yes. Yeah, we got to meet him. Yeah.
John: Yeah. Very nice. Well, it be two weeks ago when this hes, yeah.
[00:02:00] Almost two weeks. So, so, yeah. So Ken, thank you. Great to meet you. And I think I'm doing. I think I'm producing Ken's demo, which is gonna be a lot of fun.
Tina: Oh, that's awesome. Good.
John: I'm thankful for that. Yeah, I'm thankful I can't wait to produce Ken's demo. Uh, but I'm also thankful for all the listeners, the voice coaches, family, let's call them.
Mm-hmm. Our voice, coach's family. Um, I'm thankful for having a 30 year career in the voiceover industry.
Tina: Wow.
John: Because, uh, I just can't imagine doing anything else. So,
Tina: yeah.

'cause we're be usually behind the microphone. Never in front of the camera.
John: No. And for a reason.
Tina: Yes, there is. That's why
John: you can see why. But if for a reason, typically just. In front of the microphone. Mm-hmm. But yeah, I know. Listen, this is, I don't consider this an episode. I just want to do a quick Thanksgiving special for everybody and, and I hope everybody can also, whether you celebrate or not, uh, you can be thankful today because I think.
I do think a lot of times people dwell on the things they don't have. Yes. As opposed to the things. Mm-hmm. They do have. So be thankful today for everything you do have, whether it be voiceover related or not.
