Voice Coaches Radio episode 700 “Happy Holidays”
John: [00:00:00] Hey, it's me. It's J-M-G-J-M-G.
Tina: It's a new one.
John: Yeah. Well, we just, you know what, we just talked about this before the episode. Uh, by the way, I've been having this. Thing happened for the last few years and it's driving me a little nuts, to be honest. Right. It's where my name's John. Mm-hmm. But online, like every video I do, every social media thing I do, including here for, for anything.
Okay. On our social media, I always go, Hey, it's me, it's JMG because it's John m Gallogly. Okay. So I say JMG and that's my Instagram too. So, um, but. My name's John, right? And so I will say to clients, Hey, I'm John, or I wanna do webinars. I'm John. No one remembers my name. They call me everything but John every J name.
But [00:01:00] John, someone just sent us, uh, a request to be on the podcast,
Tina: okay? And.
John: I actually said my name actually in an email, said, I wanna be on the podcast with Joe and Tina. Uh, my name's John. And so I'm like, should I just, since I'm branded as Jmg on mm-hmm. All my social media, should I be JMG? Because people seem to remember that better.
Tina: I think so. 'cause it's a, it's a little more catchy. I don't know why John's easy. John.
John: Yeah. And you send, people do it to you too. They say they had a webinar with me and they say the wrong the name wrong.
Tina: Yes. Oh, they never come up. They
John: never get it. Right.
Tina: That, uh, guy, um, John like, oh yeah. Yeah.
John: It's so weird.
It's so weird. I just don't understand. So, uh, yeah, I mean, listen, you can call me John. You can call me JMG, but call me the right name will be great. A request to come on the show and call me the wrong name. Not the best, although I'm not one of those people who. So
Tina: we're banning
John: her. We're forgetting you're not
Tina: coming.
You're never coming on this show.
John: No. Uh, so yeah, no, obviously that's not gonna be the case, [00:02:00] but, um. So here's the thing. Mm-hmm. It is our 700th episode.
Tina: Woohoo.
Yeah.
John: We 700th.
Tina: Wow.
John: Yeah. We, we think
Tina: I'm exhausted.
John: Yeah. Exhausted. Yeah. You think we would have a bigger to do, but, uh, by the way, this is, will not be.
A video podcast. This will just be audio. Mm-hmm. Uh, we, there was a miscommunication. We, it is a big production to get the video podcast done. It's, and so we're just not currently
Tina: We're not there yet.
John: We're not. Well, we're there, but we weren't, it was, it was a scheduling thing is really what
Tina: it was. It was, it was, it came down to scheduling.
John: So, yeah. Um, that's
Tina: all right. Every once in a while that you guys need a break from our faces. It's okay.
John: More than once in a while probably.
Tina: But, but you think about it, we are in voice acting and they never see your face anyway, so it is just your voice. So podcast and just your voice is okay.
John: Absolutely.
Absolutely. So, so, um. Yeah. Anyway, by the way, it's not just, [00:03:00] it's not just our 700 episode. This is,
that's the lamest, uh, jingle bell ever, right there.
Tina: It's, that's the lamest one ever.
John: On the way here, I stopped to get a jingle bell, and that's all they had. A little tree with one bell, so there you go. It's, it's also Christmas. This will be released. We're gonna, we usually release on Friday. Mm-hmm. But this one is being released Christmas morning.
Not that you'll listen to a Christmas morning, although if you want us to accompany you
Tina: Yes. Yes.
John: On your gift openings.
Tina: Mm-hmm. Us in the background.
John: There you
Tina: go. We could, we could sing.
John: Yeah.
Tina: Let's not, let's say what we do. No, but that's great. I think, I think people, not like first thing Christmas morning, but later in the day they'll listen to us.
John: Yes. I, I think so
Tina: on the long drive to grandma's.
John: Oh, yep, absolutely. So it, it is a Christmas episode along with our 700th episode, and along with, uh, maybe rebranding me or people [00:04:00] getting my name right for once.
Tina: Yes.
John: Something like that.
Tina: Right. So, wait, wait. So. JMGI had, that's got I, can I just call you John?
John: Of course. Yeah. No, it'd be weird for you to say J mg to me
Tina: because I can't, you
John: can call me whatever. I just want you to, people to remember it. You remember my name? It's other people that don't, for some reason it's kind of weird. I'm gonna become, you know, it's kind of weird. So, all right. Enough about me and my name problems.
Hey, so, so it is, it is the holidays, right? Mm-hmm. And on that note, uh, one of our. Clients, someone who came through our voice of a program Yep. Um, had emailed us a request to come on the show, and I really would've loved to have had her, had her on the show. But we, we, um, aren't to that point yet with our setup, although, as you can see, we're we're, it's almost a different setup every time.
Tina: Yeah. We, we just wanna keep our people on their toes, that's all.
John: Yeah. Yeah. So, but, but not, not just that, um, what we do record sometimes a bit out. Yeah. And so we, we were actually, this is a Christmas [00:05:00] episode, but we're kind of. All set up until New Year. Really?
Guests: Yeah.
John: But we, we, we have the Christmas episode we're doing today and our 700th episode today.
But I did want to talk about some of the things she's doing. Like I, I know, and it's Christmas, perfect time for this, right? Mm-hmm. So, uh. She has an anthology, right? Is it a, is it a It's a singing right? Christmas and Advent anthology.
Tina: Yeah. Yeah.
John: That's interesting. But she also has an audio book out,
Tina: which is awesome.
John: That's good. Which is great. Yeah. Which you can find an iHeartRadio and Spreaker. Um, but this is our, but her name is Dr. Shirley Kif.
Tina: We think that's it.
John: I think that's how you pronounce it. I, I did try to, uh, in the email she sent me, she didn't include her phone numbers. I, I didn't, I wasn't able to call her quickly just to, so.
Dr. Shirley, if I'm saying Kif incorrectly, I apologize. Mm-hmm. Uh, but, but it's, uh, C-A-N-I-F-F, so it's Shirley Kif, C-A-N-I-F-F. If you wanna check out her audio book, um, on [00:06:00] iHeartRadio. And, uh, the, I think the audio book is, it's called Somewhere Between the Heavens. Something like that.
Tina: I've got, so I, it looks like she's got, um, the seventh generation blessing somewhere between the heavens and the earth.
The audio edition? Yes.
John: Oh, okay. Cool. Cool.
Tina: Yeah.
John: And, uh, and again, I think the, the, and what a perfect time for a Christmas and Advent anthology and, um. Yeah. So now as far as contacting her about that, I'm not, where is that album expansion? The debut of her memoir, audiobook across global platform. So there you go.
It's across global platform platforms. So yes,
Tina: um, it's, uh, yes, I see that she's got the book on Audible. Apple Books. Yeah. And other audio book outlets.
John: There you go. There you go.
Tina: Oh, yep. Look at this. Spotify and pod for podcasts and stuff. So she's definitely, uh, doing some great work.
John: Yeah. So there you go.
So, uh, that is Dr. Shirley Kif. And, uh, so it's great and I love it. I love hearing the work that [00:07:00] our, that our students are doing. So again, if anyone. Um, has things like that going on. Has, uh, anything where they want us to talk about one of our, especially one of our former clients. That's awesome. Uh, so cool.
So now. Uh, it is Christmas. So what I wanted to do is, uh, end a 700th episode. Mm-hmm. So what I, I had an idea for this.
Tina: Okay.
John: Let's do 700 reasons to be a voice actor. I'm just kidding. Let's do seven. How about seven?
Tina: Seven Seven's good. I like 700. Well,
John: 700 reasons we won't be here. It'll be a long episode.
Tina: Yeah.
John: A very long episode. So let's do, uh, yeah, let's do just seven, seven Reasons to be a Voice actor. And this is from each of our perspectives. Right? Okay. And then, and I think maybe some people can relate to that. Mm-hmm. So why don't you go give me your number one reason. That this is your thing, like you wanna be a voice actor and you're, you're not a mechanic.
Tina: [00:08:00] Um, I will say because it is behind a microphone and not on stage, that is for me because there's no way I could be an actor on stage. Absolutely. Or film or anything in front of the camera. Nope. That's not me. Behind the microphone. Yeah, I'm uncomfortable 'cause nobody sees me.
John: Alright. All right. That's
Tina: one of my number ones.
That is my
John: number one. And that's your number one? Uh, my number one is I've always. B always, really throughout my life, since when I, a little, I was a little kid, uh, my mom got me involved in being New York State's finest spokes boy. Oh, uh, I, I mentioned that in the show before, right? We've talked about that.
No,
Tina: no.
John: Oh, really?
Tina: Yeah.
John: Oh,
Tina: let's a whole nother We save it for a whole nother episode
John: we can talk about. Yeah, let's do that. Let's do, uh, it's, it's, it's a kinda a long story. Someone asked me in one of the webinars, and I, I said, I have to really shorten this. Like, how did you get into this? I'm like, oh, this is a long one.
But I've always been interested in, in. The entertainment dentistry. Mm-hmm. Always. And I knew that's what I wanted to do. For me, I, I've done a lot of nine to five jobs especially [00:09:00] Yeah. In, in college. Um, and I knew that wasn't that. I was like, that's not what I wanna do. Okay.
Lou: That's good.
John: You know, and some people, and we talked about this before, people love everything and that's cool.
But for me, I did not, there was nothing. I was like, oh, I could do this nine to five. Mm-hmm. I always wanted to do something entertainment related. It wasn't voiceover specifically at first.
Tina: Yeah.
John: Until, um, I was in college. I was on the college radio station. Mm-hmm. I thought I wanted to get into radio, like I think everybody does.
Tina: Yeah.
John: Yeah. And then fortunately for me, a couple of the people on the station got Apple for me and they said, don't get into radio. They said it's completely different now. There's no money in it and you don't even pick your music anymore.
Guests: Yeah.
John: They said, we, they said there's no, don't do it. And so it was at that point I was like, oh, well I, you know, I wanted to use my voice.
I was a singer as well. And, and so, um, it was, at that point I kinda latched onto voiceovers. I was like, oh, this is, oh, there's money in this. I. Once I figured out there was a lot of money in it too. Mm-hmm. Plus it is creative. Yeah. And that's something I always wanna, I've always just, I like being creative, which is why I like being on the production side of it too.
And, and even editing the audio myself.
Tina: Yeah. I love that.
John: Um, [00:10:00] because it gives you a chance to be creative and be, and so that was my number one. Mm-hmm. I wanna do something for the rest of my life that's creative, that isn't the humdrum. You know, like, ugh, you know, every day is the same old thing, you know, I'm on an assembly line somewhere.
And again, some people love that stuff. It's not for
Tina: me. Yeah. There's nothing wrong
John: with it. No. There's nothing wrong, wrong with it. So that's my number one.
Tina: Mm-hmm.
John: What's your number two?
Tina: Number two? Uh.
John: Do we mix that with seven too long? Seven. Seven too long. 700. She, uh,
Tina: re I, I think, well to the other side of it is, you know, yes.
I love being behind the microphone. But you, like you said, the creative side of it. That's also where you can do, you know, just, just, you know, you can read a script. In a whole different way. And it doesn't mean changing cha, you know, like to character voices 'cause I can't do any. But just by changing your pitch and dynamics, it's all the techniques that we do.
It changes up the copy so you can have some fun with it.
John: Yes. Yeah. I love it. Yeah. So my [00:11:00] number two is gonna be your number one. My number two would be, I don't want to be in front of the camera. Yeah. Which, which, you know, uh, goes against everything, this podcast. Mm-hmm. Or apparently we're gonna be most of our podcasts from now on.
Yes. I will be on camera
Tina: and both of us are like, really?
John: Oh yeah. Yeah. So, um. I, yeah, I'm not, listen, I've had, it's funny because I, I, we have exposure to a lot of people in the industry, and I had this director wanna say to me, and again, I don't know how to take this, whether it's positive or negative, but he said, you have a great look for a villain.
Oh, I said, what? He says, yeah, I think, you know, I could cast you in one of my things as a villain. And I, I was like, I don't know how to take that. I mean, villains are always the best parts. Yeah. So I was like, oh, that's kind of a compliment. But then I was like. But I look like a villain. Yeah. I don't know if that's positive, like this is how I look normally.
Uh, but I, I said, yeah, that's not my thing. Mm-hmm. I, I'm not really that interested in being on screen. There's people who, like, that's the thing about entertainment, right? There's, there's, we're in a very great place where, um, [00:12:00] you could still be creative, but you don't have to be in front of the camera.
Tina: Yeah.
John: And, and, uh, so yeah. Uh, I think my number two is your number one, so yeah. Not being in front of the camera is a plus, but still being able to be creative. Yeah, yeah, yeah. And express yourself, you know. What's your number three?
Tina: Ugh. You're pushing it here.
John: I know, I know,
Tina: I know. Because they, because I, as you were saying that, you know, they said to, I was waiting for you to.
Say that that director said you've got a voice for radio or, or a No, no, it's a face radio. Face for radio.
John: Yeah.
Tina: That's the
John: old school
Tina: thing. So that's, I am in radio. That's my other job. So I get to have told that all the time. So you got a face for radio and I'm like, yeah, I guess so.
John: Yeah, that's, I always say need new friends if they say that you need a bunch of new friends, if people are saying that to you.
Tina: Yeah.
John: Uh, yeah. Okay. So.
Tina: I, yeah. What I think, I mean I, a lot of it is just being that creative behind the microphone. For me. It is, it is a lot of fun. I actually like the fact of learning, 'cause I do, [00:13:00] if, for me it is, I tell these people, so for, for radio, I have to do commercials. That's, that's what I do that for, you know, all the time when it came, when I got into voice acting, that's where I seem to do more of the narrative stuff, more of the corporate trainings, the industrial aids.
I like learning about other companies that I would've never, ever in this world,
John: yeah.
Tina: Had to do anything with them. Especially if it's like a, um, you know, we're on the East Coast and there's a company on the west coast. I haven't heard, heard of them before, but now I do. And now I get to read about their company.
You know, I like that stuff.
John: Yeah, absolutely. I agree. I agree with that. That's cool. I have learned a boy, that might be my number three as well. I was gonna say that I had a number three, but I think number three is learning about things I would've never have learned about. Yeah. Like I did a bunch of, I used to work for this company.
They, they did go outta business unfortunately, 'cause they're a steady client for me. But I worked for this company that, um, they would oversee. Many construct construction companies, big construction companies. Mm-hmm. Safety protocols so that they [00:14:00] didn't have to do it. 'cause construction companies, one thing about them is they're not up on like digital or computers.
Mm-hmm. Many times. So yeah, things will go outta date and they're just not even paying attention. So what they did was they, they managed all their safety licenses for them and they did their safety training. And so I was doing a lot of that. I didn't know anything about it. Yeah. So I would like do OSHA video or not video.
Well, I would be the voiceover for the video.
Tina: For the video. Yep.
John: I would do the voiceover for an OSHA video safety video. And I was like, oh, I didn't, I didn't know any of this. You know?
Tina: You didn't know any of it. Yeah.
John: So I, Hey, by the way, I can go right into a construction site right now,
Tina: now. Yeah. Yep.
John: Not, I don't want to, but I could and I would know the safety protocols.
Uh, so yeah, that's pretty cool. Learning things that I would not have learned otherwise.
Tina: Never, I would've never pulled out any of that instructional videos. Right.
John: Absolutely not. Yeah. Okay. So that's my number three too. What's your number four?
Tina: What's your number four?
John: My, that
Tina: it can help me with my number
John: four.
Okay. So my, my number four is, is, um, being able to be creative, be in the entertainment industry without the fame. Oh
Tina: yeah.
John: I'm not that person, like mm-hmm. I, like, for example, I have a, I have a, [00:15:00] a, I really don't have a lot of social media. I have an IG Instagram. Mm-hmm. And I. 15 or 1600 followers and that's it.
And I'm happy with that. And people, oh, I have people ask me all the time. Mm-hmm. Why don't you leverage your career? 'cause I don't use, and I never tell any clients, or I don't. Mm-hmm. I don't tell people that. Go to my webinar, Hey, check me out on Instagram.
Tina: Yeah.
John: Because I, and I have people say, you can have like a hundred thousand followers if you just continue to tell people about it.
And I like, yeah. But I'm. I'm not looking to be famous.
Tina: Yeah.
John: That's what created about voiceovers is behind the scenes. Like I'm not looking for people to, to scrutinize every little thing I do.
Tina: No, I know. I know.
John: You know, like, I'm not looking for that. I, I want to, I wanna be in the entertainment industry, but not be under a microscope mm-hmm.
And have people go. So I don't, I never, I never go like, I don't do it here. I don't go, follow me on here. I don't do that. Yeah. Right. No, I know. And because I'm not looking, I have 1500 people that follow me, or 1600, whatever it is, and. I talk, and sometimes I do talk about voiceovers, but I also talk about fragrances.
That's my hobby. I, I collect, I, I guess you wouldn't call it a hobby. I collect fragrances. Oh, okay. I have o over 400 [00:16:00] fragrances.
Tina: Holy moly.
John: Yeah. So I'll review fragrances on my Instagram channel so it's not completely related to voiceover. Yeah. So I don't, yeah. So it's direct my voiceover people to it.
Tina: Mm-hmm.
John: And, uh, and again, I don't wanna be famous. Yeah. I'm just doing things I like.
Tina: Yeah.
John: And that, so that's my number four is mm-hmm. Being able to still be in this industry and not be.
Tina: Yeah.
John: In a spotlight in any way, you know?
Tina: Yeah. I think, uh, my number four, especially being back in, in New York, is the opportunity that I can go into New York City and record in a studio there, um, and then easily hop a train and, and come home.
And I, I love that. That's what I do love, because to me, and being in broadcasting New York City is the number one market. So, you know, number one market. So in my mind I'm like, oh, I'm in the number one market, but I'm just doing some voiceover stuff. Will it be in the number one market? Who knows? I don't know that, but I just know that I get to go down to a studio and record.
So I like that part of it.
John: Yeah, that's, that's cool. So my number five [00:17:00] is, um, maybe similar to but a little different. So here's my number five. I could move anywhere in the world.
Tina: Yeah.
John: And still be a voice actor. Yeah. And, and I've thought about that. I love where I live. I, I live in the Catskill Mountains and I have a bunch of land and I live in a big hill and I in my front yard of the Catskill Mountains in my backyard of the Berkshire Mountains and the Hudson River.
Nice. I love where I am. Yeah. But I have considered. You know, hey, maybe I moved to Portugal, or maybe I'll moved to Costa Rica. Mm-hmm. And that wouldn't affect my career. Like, I'm not one of those people, like, you know, people have to wait till they retire to do that. Yeah. Yeah. We don't,
Tina: no,
John: because you can live anywhere and do voiceovers.
Mm-hmm. As long as you're a full service provider.
Tina: Yes.
John: Or you have access to a studio where you are, you can do this anywhere. It doesn't affect your career negatively at all. Yeah. So that's. Honestly, that probably could have been my number one, but it's gonna be my, my number five. Yeah. 'cause there's so many great reasons to do this.
So my number five is being able to be a voice actor and it doesn't affect whether I live anywhere I wanna live.
Tina: That's true. Yeah. Yeah. I'm gonna have to [00:18:00] agree with you. I'm gonna go with that as a, as the number five because I do travel a lot and I do have it now where. My, um, microphone, isolation shield folds up like a little briefcase and because you can find that stuff.
Yeah, we talked about that fool. Yeah, that's it. And my microphone goes into a briefcase, so I got, you know, and that, and that's all I need. That's all you really need. My computer, we always have our computer with us. Yep. Right. So that's it. You plug the computer, you plug the microphone into the computer, you find that little corner of the room and you record.
Yeah. So it's nice.
John: Yeah. Ah, that's cool. Yeah. That's great. Well, uh, so. Uh, my number six. Um, yeah, number six would be the flexibility. Here's a, yeah. Okay. So, so here's something, I'm a workaholic. My wife always says, like, like, for example, I'll, I'll get these podcasts edited and ready. And I don't, I'm not one of those people who likes things hanging over my head.
Oh, yeah, I, I'm gonna go home and do it. Like, I'm not one of those people who goes, I'll do this tomorrow, or I'll do this the next day. I'm like, I gotta get this done. And I, I, I, I'm a person that gets things done immediately. [00:19:00] Mm-hmm. Um, but. The flexibility of this is great. Yeah. So like, let's say I'm not able to do that.
Let's say I get a voiceover job.
Guests: Mm-hmm.
John: And um, again, I'm a person who likes to do things right away, but the person says, Hey, I need it by next Wednesday. If I have time, I'm gonna do it right away. Oh yeah. But if I don't mm-hmm. Like the holidays are coming up. Like, what if I, I can't, like what if I'm here, like I'm doing this, I'm doing the podcast.
Mm-hmm. And I'm like, I can't do the voiceover today. Well, here's great. I don't have to.
Tina: Yeah.
John: I have to Wednesday.
Tina: Yeah.
John: So that's typical of this, right? Typical of voiceovers is the flexibility, like usually there, there are last minute things. There are people who say, Hey, hey, this is a rush job. I need this.
But most of the time. It's very flexible and especially on a local and regional level, you'll have people, even if you're gonna the studio mm-hmm. People who call and say, Hey, when are you available?
Tina: Yes. Yeah.
John: And then they'll try to work around your schedule as much as they can. Yeah. Obviously within reason.
So, uh, the flexibility of this would be my number six.
Tina: Mm-hmm. Now that's good. That's definitely good. I'm gonna have to [00:20:00] say my number six of um. I think everybody I've met in this industry, so I've been doing voice acting for probably about 17, 18 years. Everybody I've come across, whether it's been, um, in a studio or just through, you know, communication online, on the phone and doing some voice nicest people.
Really, really nicest people. It's very, I mean, not saying that everyone is laid back, but I think a lot of it is, and I always think of they, they are nice and they are very nice and, and very understanding. And I think because they know if we feel comfortable, they're gonna get a great read from us. But they are some nice people in this industry.
John: That would be my number seven. Um, and, and, uh, yeah, the people. And for me, the, the, uh, on that note. Uh, the best thing about the people in this industry is they all want to be in the room.
Tina: Yeah.
John: When you show up to a voiceover job, there's no one there that's like, let's get this over with.
Tina: Yeah.
John: Right. No, [00:21:00] they, everyone wants to be there.
And that is, again, my seven. It's, it's one of the best things, but it's my seven threes and four wanting to be a voice actor. And this is why, you know, a lot of people have things they want, other things they wanna do. I don't. Mm-hmm. This is it for me, right? Yeah. So I'm not like, someday I'm gonna be. This, no, this is it.
This is what I want to be. I'm already doing and I've been doing it for a long time and it's because, and this is again, the seven threes and one of the top reasons, the top seven, uh, is everyone loves it.
Tina: Yeah.
John: Right. When you come to a studio, um, very rarely do you meet someone who's not. In a good mood.
Tina: Mm-hmm. Right. '
John: cause there's a lot of other jobs you could be doing that uh, you know you don't like. Yeah. Right.
Tina: That's
John: very sure. Even, even today. Even today, when I came in and everyone realized that they were not ready for the video podcast. Yeah. Uh, they were still in a good mood. They were just like, oh no.
Tina: Like, oh no. What'd we do? We messed up again.
John: Yeah. It was just, it was just a miscommunication. It was, uh, [00:22:00] it was because it's new. Mm-hmm. Because the video podcast part of this is new. Um, it was sort of on me. I, but I wasn't, it was ignorance on my part. Like, I wasn't aware of who needed to know what, like it was on the calendar.
It was on your calendar. On my calendar. That's it. But, but, um, Laura for example, who do, who does the scheduling? Mm-hmm. She also didn't know who needed to know, like, who needed this on their calendar. And I was ignorant to the fact that she didn't know it.
Tina: Yeah.
John: And so I didn't tell her. Yeah. So it was kinda like on, it was just a miscommunication.
Like if I had known she wasn't aware mm-hmm. Then I would've said, Hey, by the way, we need this person, this person, this person. In my mind I thought she knew that already.
Tina: Yeah.
John: And, and so it was just a miscommunication more on me than her really. I should have, I should have like checked and said, okay. Who needs to be there and who needs to know.
Yeah. You know, uh, so, and that's fine. Listen, I don't, we don't have to be on video. I'm actually a little happy about it. Yeah. I'm not bummed. No,
Tina: no. I'm not bummed either. So that's okay.
John: Because, you know, 'cause we were doing a couple episodes today and [00:23:00] which means we had to switch outfits. Yeah. Uh, you know, so now I know I get to play the same outfit.
It was great. Yeah. Uh, alright, cool. So yeah, so there are seven reasons. And, uh, and not 700, although it is goodness, episode 700. I know. Uh, woo. Yeah. Uh, so, um, seven reasons from our perspective
Tina: mm-hmm.
John: On why we love being voice actors. And, and maybe you can identify with some of this. If you are a voice actor or if you're not yet Not yet, then you think maybe this is the time about it.
Tina: Yeah.
John: Yeah. So there you go. And, and I want, again, I wanna say Happy Holidays to everybody,
Tina: happy holidays,
John: whatever you celebrate. Mm-hmm. And if you don't still celebrate life.
Guests: Yes. My voice coach family. We just wanted to wish you all a very happy holiday season and happy 700th. Episode, woo.
Lou: Hey, voice coaches, family.
It's Lou CarVal and I want to wish everybody a happy and healthy holiday season. And a big congratulations on the podcast side of things for celebrating [00:24:00] 700 episodes. Keep up the great work guys.
Danette: Hello, voice coaches, fam de and Lenny here. Just want to send some holiday cheer your way. Thanks for being such loyal listeners, and a huge congratulations also to our team for making it to our 700th episode.
Tom: Robinson New Year.
John and Tina celebrate both VCR’s 700th episode and the Holidays with 700 reasons to be a Voice Actor. Okay not 700…7. At the very end there’s a Holiday surprise.
