In today’s VO Behind The Scenes, we’re treated to a terrific interview with voice actor DJ Tanner, who plays Tony Stark/Iron Man in the new Iron Man: Extremis motion comic.
In today’s Voice Overs of the World, I’ve managed to track down three voice overs that couldn’t be more different from each other, but each one offers ups something really interesting or unique that I thought was worth talking about.
The author’s latest “The Pop of King” column is titled, “Big Audio Dynamite: The Blood’s A Rover Audiobook Rocks, Thanks to Many Wild Characters — and One Stellar Actor.” In it, Mr. King talks about how much he enjoyed the latest audiobook adaptation of author James Ellroy’s latest book, Blood’s A Rover. And while he credits the books characters and many twists and turns, he also pays special attention to the performance of voice actor Craig Wasson.
A great new interview with Nolan North, one of the most prolific voice actors working today. Haven’t heard of him? Well, if you don’t play a lot of video games, that’s not entirely surprising. Basically, Nolan North is THE go-to voice for video game developers.
All of us here at Voice Coaches were very sad to hear about the passing of Eddie Carroll, the voice of Disney’s Jiminy Cricket for the last 37 years.
Sad news this weekend as it was reported that actor John Forsythe had passed away at the age of 92. Mr. Forsythe, in addition to being an accomplished and award-winning television and film actor, was also a terrific voice actor. His best known voice acting was, of course, as the always-heard but never seen Charlie in Charlie’s Angels, which he describes below as, “the best and easiest job any actor could have.”
