Technology + You= Opportunity , Voice Coaches 2009 Advanced Marketing Expo, came to a close last night at 5:15pm. With attendance close to 200, this event was a tremendous and empowering success.

Attendees from across the US and Canada joined some of the most influential professionals in our industry for a day-long series of presentations, expert panels, and one-on-one advice.

Though many former and current Voice Coaches students were in attendance from as far away as California, New Mexico, Arizona, Georgia, Texas, and Florida, we want to give special thanks to Voice Coaches Student turned professional voice actor Jonathan Stull, who traveled all the way from Wasilla Alaska to attend the event!

Presenters and panelists included Legendary Voice Actor Rodney Saulsberry, Voices.com founders Stephanie & David Ciccarelli, Award winning audio book producer Dan Bostick, Home recording expert Mark Magdich, Television, film, and voice actor Evan Farmer, Super agent Billy Serow, Visual marketing expert Dan Dinsmore, Producer and trainer Dave Goldberg, Communication and marketing expert Jay Silverman, and more.

In addition, experts in vocal health, visual marketing, social networking, home recording, and conventional marketing, were on hand along with Voice Over Xtra founder and former student John Florian, and representatives from Voices.com to answer questions during seminar intermissions.

Attendees enjoyed catered breakfast, snacks, lunch, and beverages all day provided by our exceptional friends at Mallozzi’s Catering.

For the first time, we formally invited one of our charities, the SPCA to join us. I am proud to say that Voice Coaches students and friends raised more than $2000.00 for the group in less than 8 hours.

Anna and I were fortunate to have a late post-event dinner with most of our presenters and I am delighted to say that every single one of these professionals were very impressed by YOU our students.

After an exhausting month preparing for this event… We are a bit sad that it’s over! We do want to sincerely thank our entire team at Voice Coaches, and all of our special guests and presenters who were willing to invest their own valuable time to share information.

Most of all however, we want to extend our most sincere thanks to our clients across the US and Canada for trusting us to assist you. You make it possible for us to do something that we truly enjoy… and we are dedicated to doing the same thing for you!!

Until next year… Thanks!

I’ve been to a lot of conventions and conferences in my time, and I can easily say that this year’s expo was by far the most exciting, energetic, and FUN event I’ve been to. I was amazed by the enthusiasm of our students, while all of the presenters offered dynamic and informative presentations, and there was an energy in the air that was simply palpable. Believe it or not, despite all the hours of hard work that went into preparing for the expo, I’m already looking forward to next year’s event!

If you missed it, be sure to check out some of the video clips that are up in the Voice Coaches TV section. You can access Voice Coaches TV by clicking on the logo on the VC main page. Enjoy!

  2. Hi David, Anna and the entire Voice Coaches Team,

Thank you very much for doing a fabulous job with the expo! As always, it is a pleasure to visit and share our knowledge with your students, many of whom were able to teach us a thing or two as well.

Looking forward to next year :)

    Cheers,

    Stephanie Ciccarelli

    Good morning David,

I would like to take this opportunity to personally thank you, your staff and all the presenters for the outstanding job everyone did at the 2009 Marketing Expo on Saturday 05/02/09.
I will tell you that my expectations for the event were set quite high prior to going to the event due to the professionalism that you and your staff have demonstrated to me over the past few weeks during my Premier Training Program. Not only did you meet my expectations, You exceeded them by leaps and bounds.
Personally my timing could not have been better to attend this event as I am in the middle of my training program and the plethora of information provided at the event was further substantiation that I chose the right company for my voice over training.
All of the presenters did such an outstanding job in delivering their respective messages in a precise, detailed, motivational, fun, and entertaining way.
I also have to say that I was very impressed on how you managed the schedule throughout the day by precisely following the agenda, which from first hand experience is no easy task with over 165 people in attendance.
The Mixer event was also a great opportunity to speak with many fellow voice actors that are in various stages of their training or careers and the information I gathered from them was invaluable, which will help me to develop an effective business plan to insure my success as a voice actor.
Please extend my sincere thanks to everyone that made this event a Huge Success.

I was already extremely motivated and passionate about your Premier Training program and if it’s possible, I have become even more excited about my career path and can’t wait to complete my demo on May 27th in Schenectady. I look forward to making the trip to Schnectady in a few weeks to meet with the staff of voice coaches and complete my demo.

Thanks again for all the many hours of hard work everyone put in to make the event such a huge success.
    Keep up the great work.

    Best regards,
    Doug Warner
